DAY THREE: As a group of tired young actors gather for the third day and begin to piece the show together, our spirits are lifted by a visit from Tony Audenshaw! Tony watched rehearsals, signed a load of autographs and took part in a very amusing Q&A……… “Where did you buy your car from?”…….Very funny and a great way to end the day!

PAPERMAN TAKES FLIGHT!

DAY TWO: As we settle into our second day and the company slowly begins to gel, we gently push the boundaries and raise the bar…….Excellent work in small groups as we tackle Macbeth, Hobson’s Choice, Blood Brothers, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Charlie Brown….The list goes on! We watch in wonder as Marple Drama’s interpretation of PAPERMAN takes flight…….It looks and sounds fantastic! Excellent work from all involved………………..

JULIE’S VISIT……….WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY!

What a fantastic day at Marple Drama! We were joined by Julie Hesmondhalgh who watched rehearsals, took part in group exercises, and as always, had time to spare to chat to our young actors and even sign some autographs! A journalist from The Marple Review and a photographer from The Stockport Times were present to record the occasion and later in the day we were joined by one of Manchester’s leading agents, Rachel Bailey. A very special thanks to Julie for her support and interest in Marple Drama and a huge thanks to all involved for making the day so special!
